This slip stitch pattern is addicting. See?

I’m tentatively calling it Kuelap since it reminds me of Peru and that was a settlement founded by the Chachapoyas (with whom I’m so fascinated—who doesn’t love mysterious/long-gone civilizations?) It’s so soft I keep stopping to pet it which is slowing the knitting down a bit. Must. Go. Faster.

I just found your blog, and this pattern looks really intriguing – especially the idea of using slip stitches so you’re only knitting one colour at a time. Sounds like my kind of colour work. I’ll keep checking back to see how it turns out.
